Q: The Hot Almond, Grass Jelly and Taro Ball series appear to have no toppings?

A: The toppings are at the bottom of the bowl.

Q: I am allergic to peanuts and other tree nuts, which menu items do you recommend?

A: Unfortunately we do not recommend our items to individuals with severe nut allergies, as our store offers many products with nuts. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consumers with severe allergies. Do let our staff know if you have dietary restrictions that need to be accommodated.

Q: Are you products vegetarian and/or vegan friendly?

A: Most of our products are vegetarian friendly. Our toppings, puddings, jellies, etc. are made from gelatin substitutes. However, our products contain and/or may come into contact with milk and other dairy ingredients. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consumers with severe dairy allergies.

Q: Can you make the products warm instead of hot?

A: Our products are not too hot, except for the Hot Grass Jelly series where it has to be hot for it to solidify.

Q: Can I ask for no ice for Grass Jelly Cold or Taro Ball Cold series?

A: Yes. However, the flavour of our Grass Jelly products will not taste as rich without ice. Also, the Taro Ball series may be overly sweet without ice.

Q: Is the Almond series made with powder?

A: No, we use Almond Paste to make the soup base.

Q: Is there caffeine in Meet Fresh Winter Melon Tea or Herbal Tea?

A: No, there is no caffeine in our Winter Melon Tea and Herbal Tea.

Q: Is there a recommended way to consume the Taro Paste Series?

A: Please shake well before drinking products with Taro Paste.

Q: Are prices consistent across all menus and platforms?

A: We aim to keep our prices as consistent as possible across our menus and platforms. However, prices may vary since each delivery platform has a different pricing system.

 

 

PRE-ORDER DELIVERY (OTTAWA)

Q: When and where do you deliver to?

A: We offer delivery from: 

Monday - Friday: 6PM - 9PM
Saturday-Sunday 4PM - 9:30PM

We arrange delivery to Kanata, Barrhaven, and Downtown Ottawa. 

Delivery fee: $5 (minimum amount for an order is $20)

We offer free delivery to one location point for purchases over $40.

Q: When can I make my order?

A: You can make a pre-order delivery order at any time!

If you would like next-day delivery, the order must be made 24 hours or more in advance.

Q: Can I change/cancel my order?

A: For any order changes, please call our Ottawa store within 2 hours - have your order number ready! We will try our best to help accommodate you. Our Ottawa store phone number is (613) 421-0900.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any cancellations on orders.

Q: Do I get loyalty points with my orders?

A: Of course! You can input your request in the "notes" section at checkout; please include the phone number that is associated with your account.

Q: I want to add more items to my order, is that possible?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to the amount of items in your order. However, if it is 24 hours before the delivery date, you can simply place another order and select the same delivery date!
